1/2 Way There
Based on what I have read so far I would definitely recommend this book to someone. It is full of adventure, suspension and wonder. On top of all of that it is a true story which makes it even more interesting because it's not something that was made up. So yes, I would recommend this book to people who really like true stories and adventure!
If I ever got to meet the author of this book I would have quite a few questions to ask him about his adventure and reaching the top of the world.
1. Was is scaring thinking about your air supply climbing up the mountain?
2. How did you feel climbing down the mountain knowing that not everyone was coming down with you?
3. Do you regret any of the choices you made climbing up Mt. Everest?
Some things that I have noticed about the language of the book is how detailed the text is. You are never lost in his text because it flows really nicely. Getting this far in the book I haven't come across a part that did not make sense to me. Based on his word choice I think that his audience is meant to be everyone. I really don't think there is any specific audeince he is writing to. I believe this book is meant for everyone even though not everyone can relate to it.
Overall, I am still really liking this book and I can't wait to see/read how it ends!
